Tear plate weld-on stair treads are stair treads that are attached to the stringer by means of a welded connection. Wemeco has developed a range of standard dimensions for its welded steps. But as always, the following applies here too: Your custom work is our standard.
wemStep® Tear plate weld-on stair treads for welding are available in three different versions depending on the load and application: single, double, and triple bent profiles. Additionally, steps with a kick plate can be chosen.
If the staircase is eventually hot-dip galvanized, it is recommended that the treads be fitted with zinc drain holes.
wemStep® Tear plate weld-on stair treads are available in the following materials and thicknesses:
Because wemStep® welded treads are usually still welded, we generally supply them without surface treatment. If desired, however, we can provide a finish for the welded treads. You have options such as hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, pickling and anodizing. Configure your tread online and see what options are available.
wemStep® Tear plate weld-on stair treads are available in common standard dimensions:
wemStep® Tear plate weld-on stair treads are available in the following materials and thicknesses:
Of course, we are also able to produce stair treads in your desired customer-specific dimensions. Both height and width can be freely chosen.
Using our wemStep® Configurator, you can easily create your own stair treads in addition to the standard ones. The configurator also calculates the corresponding maximum load. Furthermore, with just a click of a button, you receive your customer-specific DXF, STEP, or BIM file that you can use for your own drawing. You also get the complete specification text and product specifications of the configured treads.
The maximum permissible load on the step is determined by several factors, namely:
In our product configurator, you can immediately see the maximum permissible load of the step you have configured.
When using our wemStep® Configurator, you can download drawings in PDF, DXF, and BIM formats for each configuration. You will also receive the complete specification text and product specifications for the configured stair tread.

Tear plate spiral stair treads are used for spiral staircases and are welded to the spindle of the staircase.
For wemStep® Tear plate spiral stair treads, the entire tread serves as an anti-slip surface.
wemStep® Spindle treads are available in two different designs: single and double-folded profiles. When both the front and back of the tread are bent twice, we refer to it as a double fold. This technique not only results in improved load-bearing capacity and stiffness of the tread but also in a beautifully rounded finish.
wemStep® Tear plate spiral stair treads are available in right-hand and left-hand turning treads. This depends on the direction of travel of the spiral staircase.
Our standard wemStep® Tear plate spiral stair treads are available for spindle pipes with an outer diameter of 114 and 127mm.

Tear plate weld-on stair treads are stair treads that are attached to the stringer by means of a welded connection.

Our standard wemStep® Tear plate spiral stair treads are available for spindle pipes with an outer diameter of 114 and 127mm.

wemStep Specials are available in the following material types and thicknesses:
We offer a range of possibilities to provide your products with a high-quality surface treatment.
You can choose from various finishes, such as hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, pickling and passivation, and anodizing. This enables you to not only protect your products, but also give them an aesthetically attractive appearance.
We provide support for product development by guiding the entire process, from the initial idea through to market launch. This includes structuring the development path, assessing manufacturability and feasibility, and coordinating with designers, engineers, and suppliers.
Manufacturability is a crucial aspect of product development that determines the feasibility and efficiency of production processes. It’s about ensuring that a product is not only well-designed but can also be manufactured simply and cost-effectively. We help companies analyze product designs to ensure they are optimal for mass production. This includes selecting appropriate materials, optimizing production processes, and collaborating with suppliers.
By focusing on manufacturability in the early stages of development, we can identify and solve potential problems early on. This results not only in faster time to market but also in lower production costs and higher quality. With our expertise, we ensure that your product is not only innovative but also practical and profitable to manufacture.

Rubber plug weld-on treads are stair treads that are attached to the stringer by means of a welded connection.
Rubber plug weld-on treads are stair treads that are attached to the stringer by means of a welded connection.
If the staircase is eventually hot-dip galvanized, it is recommended that the treads be fitted with zinc drain holes.
wemStep® Rubber plug weld-on treads are available in the following material types and thicknesses:
Because wemStep® welded treads are usually still welded, we generally supply them without surface treatment. If desired, however, we can provide a finish for the welded treads. You have options such as hot-dip galvanizing, powder coating, pickling and anodizing. Configure your tread online and see what options are available.
wemStep® Rubber plug weld on treads are available in the following common standard dimensions:

The maximum permissible load on the step is determined by several factors, namely:
In our product configurator, you can immediately see the maximum permissible load of the step you have configured.
When using our wemStep® Configurator, you can download drawings in PDF, DXF, and BIM formats for each configuration. You will also receive the complete specification text and product specifications for the configured stair tread.
Rubber plug bolt-on treads are stair treads that are mounted to the stringers using bolts.
